The last Monday of each month sees a group of ladies from Liverpool, Wirral and Chester all join together for Focus on Mission.
There is usually about 40 of us and we have a mixed and varied programme. We have missionaries come and share about their work, and we learn a lot about what is going on locally too.
Many of the ladies spend lots of time knitting and trying to help in different ways collecting goods and items which are needed in various countries. Most of what we collect goes to Romania, Zambia & Malawi.
Every other year we have a weekend away.
In March 2012 we will be off to Rydal Hall in the Lake District, this is always an enjoyable time. This meeting is open to all ladies and over the past year we have been joined by lots of new ladies.
