Our imaginatively names men’s get together happens monthly, however the day and time often varies depending on our activity.
During the past year our activities have included a quiz night, a curry evening, a trip to see the mighty Tranmere Rovers, an indoor cricket match and a Krypton Factor.
The reason we have these events specifically for men is that the guys from our church like to meet together to have a laugh, and seeing as we are men we like to do something whilst we meet. We also want to show our friends, family and anyone else we invite along, or who just turns up, that being a bloke and a Christian doesn’t necessarily mean you’re weird!
If the setting allows, usually one of the guys who organises the group will share a short thought near the end about how God might fit in to our lives today.
