COMMUNITY
When we consider community we are thinking partly about our church community but also the wider community where Hebron is based and where we live. We believe God cares for our community in Wallasey and that people shouldn’t have to travel miles to hear about Him, but that He places people in communities to share the Good News of Jesus. We hope to be a church that shares in the life of our local community. We look to love and serve our community in different ways and in doing this speak about Jesus and share our lives. As a church we believe it is important that we gather together on a Sunday to worship God but we also look to be a community of believers who live authentic Christian lives in sharing life together, loving each other, bearing one another’s burdens, challenging and encouraging each other.

We also hope to be a church that reaches out together, sharing our lives as families and groups of friends so that our evangelism takes place as a community. We hope that people living in Wallasey will see that we are a community of believers who have been saved and changed by God’s grace and that the unity and love we share at Hebron will stand out to people who don’t know Jesus.
We don’t go to Church – We are the Church.

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1 v 9
So we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 Thessalonians 2 v8
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
1 John 3 v 18
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
John 17 v 20-21
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 John 4 v 11-12
