what do we need to do?
Imagine a church where members are regularly praying for the conversion of their coworkers and friends.

Imagine church members sharing text messages with their small group about evangelistic conversations they’ve had and asking for prayer.
Imagine a people leading their neighbours to Christ.
Imagine a church having to change the regular order of the worship service because there are so many baptisms.
Imagine a church’s new members meal being filled with more new converts than new transfers.[1]

Imagine this was Hebron.
In 2025 we are praying & seeking for 10 lost souls to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord & Saviour.

Before you say it, yes God can do above and beyond all that we ask (Ephesians 3v20) if God saves more than 10, we’re not going to be upset, we’ll praise and worship Him.
For those of you who serve in many different ways at church, for those of you who attend our prayer meetings you probably feel that it’s hard going at times.

Our hope in 2025 is to encourage all of us as a church to pray and seek the lost with zeal. We’re saying let’s pray and seek 10 lost souls, as we acknowledge that we are not a large church and Wallasey doesn’t feel like a place where the gospel is changing many lives.
In other word’s seeing 10 lost souls come to Christ in 2025 would be a miraculous work of God. (Seeing one person converted is a miracle).

We need to pray.
For us to see 10 people believe and get baptised in 2025, we need to come together as a church and pray earnestly and encourage each other to be bold in sharing the gospel.
We are asking Jesus to work a miracle in raising people from the dead, we can’t do it, but by the power of the Spirit, God can.

We need to pray as a church, not just the Elders & Deacons or those who serve, but as a whole church we will need a culture of prayer throughout 2025 to see those 10 souls saved.
We need to have these 10 souls on our minds in everything we do as a church, when we pray before every midweek outreach event, whether it’s Little Fishes, Friends & Neighbours, or Youth Club, we are praying for these 10.

In our Small Groups, at our monthly prayer meetings we are praying for God to save these 10 souls and we are praying earnestly, we desperately need God.

Before every Sunday service we need to be praying for God to do the work of salvation, this isn’t just those involved in the service but everyone can come and pray.

In our Sunday service we are praying for these 10 souls and when the preacher calls us to share the gospel in response to the Scriptures, we have those 10 in mind.
We want each one of us as a church to have these 10 souls on our mind when we pray each day, we want people to write names down and pray for those people to be saved. Maybe set the wallpaper on your mobile phone as a reminder to pray for the 10 God is going to save. This is not just for some of us to be praying but the whole church, we are praying and believing God will answer.
One of these 10 souls saved could be your family member, your son, daughter or a parent, maybe a neighbour or one of your coworkers. Maybe it’s someone who has been coming to church for years and is still not saved.
Evangelism is hard and scary but with God’s help we can all do it. We want to pray that God would open up conversations, that people may ask us why we are Christians and we would be bold. We want to be encouraging each other and celebrating what God does.

Our hope and desire, is that this wouldn’t just be talked about at our AGM but as a church we would pray and work towards seeing God save 10 lost souls in 2025.
